Problem 3: Consider a four-pole, 10-hp, 460V (line-line RMS voltage) induction motor supplying its rated power to a constant load torque application at a 60Hz frequency with rated speed of 1750 rpm. The motor is connected to a variable-speed induction motor drive (operating with sine-PWM modulation approach) with constant V/Hz operation which is fed from a 900V de battery. Complete the following (24 points]: a) Draw the duty ratios for the three SPDT switches of the inverter for rated speed operation. (9 points) b) Draw the duty ratios for the three SPDT switches of the inverter when the load is operated at half its rated speed. (15 points).
