B1. Design of a basic power system Design a basic system which has realistic features. The main requirements are as follows: 1) The system must have at least two power lines (feeders), where at least one feeder must be a 3. phase line. The second power line can be 3-phase, 2-phase, or 1-phase Each feeder must have 2 or more busses and at least two loads which are connected to two different buses. 2) The system must have a substation (e.g. 34.5V/4.16KV) and one or more service transformers (e.g. 4.16kV/240-120V. The service transformers must accommodate loads of residential customers i.e. both 240-V and 120-V loads 3) The power lines must have specified impedance and length. You can use the pi-line component in the simulator library or a RLC branch to represent line impedance. 4) The system must have at least one PQ load (1.e a load that consumes both real and reactive power) and one induction motor. The system total load power factor must be in the range of 0.85-0.95 lagging 5) You can also use circuit breakers to control your power system component(s). 6) The system data (transformers, lines, loads etc.) may be taken from textbooks or other sources. You cannot take data from any Simulink files what are provided by ECE 310L/3810L instructor
