As IT and digital tools become commonplace in all aspects of our
work life, the traditional structure of the work environment is
changing. Managers are increasingly embracing new work structures
and arrangements including virtual teams. Virtual teams are groups
of geographically and/or organizationally dispersed coworkers that
are assembled using a combination of IT and software to accomplish
organizational tasks. However, in the bid to design virtual teams,
managers often face several challenges that necessitate some new
skills in leading virtual teams relative to traditional teams. As
future managers, identify and discuss two main
challenges you expect to face when designing virtual
teams. Full credit will be given to solutions
