Instructions For the term project, you will test an application you choose. Note that you do not have to develop the application, you may test an existing application. You can work in groups of 2 students. You are required to do the following: • Choose a desktop application with a GUI, or a web or a mobile application that consists of at least 2-3 pages/windows. Note that choosing a very simple application may result in a low grade. • Design test cases to test the application using the techniques we have discussed in the lectures. • Automate some or all of your test cases. • You can earn more points by making use of extra test techniques and tools such as o Coverage analysis o Load testing o Mutation testing • Generate a report that will summarize what you have done in the project. • Upload your report and project related files here. • Be prepared to present your project on May 16th at lab hours. Presentation plan will be announced later.
