Analysis Problem
For each n e N, define fn:(-1,1) +R by fn(x) = = x2 + n a) Prove that (fr) converges uniformly to f(x) = |2|. b) Prove that fn is differentiable and find fn. c) Find the function g:(-1,1) + R such that (fr) converges pointwise to g. Prove that (fr) does not converge uniformly to g.
