Determine whether or not the following functions have a limit at
(x, y) = (0, 0). If the limit exists determine its value.
HINT: Remember that if you want to prove that the limit of a
function does not exist,
it suffices to provide two sequences of points in the domain of the
function such that
when evaluating them in the function they have different limits. On
the other hand, if the limit
exists you can use calculation techniques 1 like Taylor,
L'Hospital, etc.
a) |2|4 b) 3227y=sin(22) ) 2x+- 2 4x3+3y
(x, y) = (0, 0). If the limit exists determine its value.
