The Chocolate Lovers Weekly Report (Feb 12,
1991) reported that, according to the manufacturer, the color
distribution for plain M&M's was: 40% brown, 20% yellow, 20%
orange, 10% green and 10% red. We wanted to test this and see
if it was accurate, so we bought one large bag of plain M&M's
and randomly selected 100 candies. We classified the candies
in the sample according to color, resulting in the data
below. Determine if the data suggests that the published
color distribution is accurate or not.
