For the health question: Does BMI affect the survival
(follow-up status) of MI patients?
The null hypothesis of my chosen health question would state
that BMI has no effect on the survival of MI patients. The
alternative hypothesis would state that BMI influences the
survival of MI patients.
H0: μ = 27.038 vs Ha: μ≠ 27.038 where
27.038 is the mean BMI.
What is the name of the statistical test you will use to test
your hypothesis and answer your health question? I am unsure of
what statistical test to use for this question and how to compute
it.
