A survey was conducted of two types of marketers. The first type being marketers that focus primarily on attracting business (M1), and the second type being marketers that primarily target consumers (M2). It was reported that 40.2% of M1 and 50.2% of M2 marketers commonly use a business social media tool. The study also revealed that 50.2% of M1 marketers and 59.6% of M2 marketers commonly use a video social media tool. Suppose the survey was based on 500 M1 marketers and 500 M2 marketers. Complete parts (a) through (c) below.

a. At the 0.05 level of significance, is there evidence of a difference between M1 marketers and M2 marketers in the proportion that commonly use the business social media tool? Let population 1 correspond to M1 and population 2 correspond to M2. Choose the correct null and alternative hypotheses below. ОА. Ном 2 H₃: Is < 12 O c. Hoit, the H: 11 =12 O B. Hoit, St Hp : 71 > 2 D. H: 14 =12 H:1 +12 Use technology to determine the Z-stat the test statistic, ZSTAT ZSTAT = -2.86 (Round to two decimal places as needed.) Find the rejection region. Select the correct answer below and fill in any answer boxes in your choice. (Round to two decimal places as needed.) A. ZSTAT - B. ZSTAT< - 1.96 or ZSTAT> + 1.96 O C. ZSTAT>+ Determine a conclusion. Reject the null hypothesis. There is evidence of a difference between M1 marketers and M2 marketers in the proportion of the business social media tool. b. Find the p-value in (a) and interpret its meaning. p-value = 0.004 (Round to three decimal places as needed.) Interpret the p-value. If the proportion of M1 marketers that use the business social media tool is equal to the proportion of M2 marketers that use the business social media tool, the probability that a Zstat test statistic equal to or more extreme than the one calculated is approximately equal to the p-value. c. At the 0.05 level of significance, is there evidence of a difference between M1 marketers and M2 marketers in the proportion that use the video social media tool? Let population 1 correspond to M1 marketers and population 2 correspond to M2 marketers. Use technology to determine the p-value. p-value = 0.002 (Round to three decimal places as needed.) Determine a conclusion. Reiect the null hypothesis There is evidence of a difference between M1 marketers and M2 marketers in the proportion of the video social media tool
