To do this, they compare their Lithium Ion batteries with Nickel Cadmium batteries on the same device, They first fully charged both batteries. They tested and recorded the battery life of the Lithium lon batteries first. Once the Lithium Ion battery was drained, they replaced the battery pack with that of the Nickel Cadmium to test and record the results.
