had their weight measured at baseline and again when they returned
to camp 1 year later. Each
time, a serum sample was obtained from which hemoglobin A1c was
made. The following table is
the results:
a. Use correlation method to assess the relationship between
weight and HgbA1c at the initial
visit? Perform the test and report a two-sided p-value. Use SPSS
only.
b. Compute nonparametric test between change in weight and change
in HgbA1c, each over 1
year. Both By hand and SPSS.
c. Use regression method to test if the HgbA1c changes have effect
on weight changes and
compare to the correlation method. Use both hand and SPSS.
