PLEASE HELP WITH THIS, I WILL BE GRATEFULL!!
Linda and Kris met in BUSS1020 in 2019 just before lockdown.
They have decided to marry. They have consulted with
Tony (their tutor) to assist in estimating the cost of having
a wedding in Sydney, Australia.
Tony created the table below. It shows the costs of other
similar weddings (selected randomly) along with the number of
people invited to the wedding ("attendees")
a. Determine the regression equation?
b. What the slope indicates?
c. What the Y intercept indicates?
d. Identify and consider the meaning of the coefficient of
determination (R2) for this problem
e. Test the equation for statistical significance by examining
the population slope. Use a
0.05 level of significance. State the null and alternative
hypotheses the test.
Determine the test statistic:
Determine the p-value.
State the conclusion.
Determine the 95% confidence interval estimate of the
population slope.
If Linda an Kris are planning to invite 175 guests, how much
should they estimate for the cost of the wedding?
