Instructions: I would like to know the average year of U.S. pennies in circulation. For this assignment collect a sample of 50 to 150 pennies (you decide how many) and: 1. Construct a 99% confidence interval for the average year of a penny in circulation today. Show all of your data including all of the dates of your sample pennies. Describe how you collected your sample, where did you get your pennies. What is your sample mean and standard deviation? II. Test the following hypotheses using your sample data. The null hypothesis is the average year for the population of pennies in circulation is greater than or equal to 2013. The alternative hypothesis is that the average year for the population of pennies in circulation is less than 2013. Include a labeled normal curve with your results.
