Problem:
Part I:
Part 2: By looking at the behavior of f'(x) where is f(x)
increasing and where is it decreasing? Give answers using interval
notation for x.
Part 3: By looking at the behavior of f''(x) what does that tell
us about our f(x) function? Again, use interval notation in your
answer.
Part 4: Use desmos or another graphing utility to graph f, f'
and f'' all on the same grid each in a different labeled color. Be
sure to have an efficient graphing window. Are you conjectures in
parts 2 and 3 confirmed by your graph?
