The accelerometer is one of the essential inertial measurement units (IMU) in the smartphone. Suppose the 10bit ADC module gave us the following values for the three accelerometer channels (axes): AdcRx = 586, AdcRy =630, AdcRz = 561 a) Each ADC module will have a reference voltage Vref, let's assume in our question, it is 3.3V. What are the voltage values of these 3 channels (Please round all results to 2 decimal points) [3°)? b) Each accelerometer has a zero-g voltage level, you can find it in specs, this is the voltage that corresponds to Og. To get a signed voltage value, we need to calculate the shift from this level. Let's say our Og voltage level is VzeroG = 1.65V. Please calculate the voltage shifts from zero-g voltage for the 3 channels [3'). c) Accelerometer is used to detect the force for the three channels (axes). We already have our accelerometer readings in Volts in b), it's still not in g (9.8m/s?), to do the final conversion, we apply the accelerometer sensitivity, usually expressed in mV /8. Lets say our Sensitivity = 478.5mV /8 = 0.4785V/8. Sensitivity values can be found in accelerometer specifications. Please determine the final force values expressed in g for all 3 channels [3').
