The diagram shows 2 coils, P & Q, aligned along their central axes. Each with a larger number of turns. mtoto A S R Coil P is connected to an EMF and a switch, as shown. a The resistor is only present to limit the current and prevent damage to the circuit. Coil Q is connected to a ammeter (A), which measures current flow. What will happen when the switch is closed?
it will never measure a current The ammeter will show a spike in current that will be maintained as long as the switch connected to coil P remains closed. O it will not measure a current unless a battery is connected to it Coil Q will produce a magnetic field that points in the same direction as the one produced by coil P. The ammeter will show a momentary spike in current, then drop back to zero.
