Chapter 22 b Mr. Flint's labwork is back and his potassium level is slightly decreased at 3.1 mEq/L. The physician changes the IV fluid to 1 L of D5 NS + 20 mEq kcl at a rate of 2.25 mEq/hr. You add the potassium to the D5 NS and calculate the new rate. Using the same drop factor of 20 gtt/ml, what is the rate in gtt/min?
