4. Explanation Question: Someone claims that Newton's Laws can't be right because they predict phenomenon contrary to known facts. The known fact is that a horse can pull a buggy and move at modest speed. This certain someone, who shall remain nameless, says that as the horse exerts a force on the buggy to pull it, according to Newton's 3rd law the buggy exerts an equal and opposite force pulling the horse backwards. Therefore the net force on the horse is zero and hence according to Newton's 2nd law there will be no motion. How would you answer this person to explain why the horse and buggy move?
