To this end, consider the dataset "7Life expectancy" (source: https://www.worlddata.info/life- expectancy.php) displaying the official data for life expectancies of men and women across the world from the year 2019. a) Visualize the data both for men and women separately. What do you observe? b) Now visualize the data simultaneously in a suitable way. Can you already detect (signifi- cant) differences? c) Calculate for each country the difference between the life expectancy of men and women, then visualize your results. Comment on your observations. d) Does the data support the fact that women live significantly longer than men? Conduct a suitable statistical test in oder to answer this question. Don't forget to formulate null and alternative, determine a significance level and interpret the result! e) Discuss possible reasons for potential differences between the two genders.
