Water at 160° F is drawn at a rate of 275 gal/min from the tank. The suction line is 4in in diameter and is 10 ft long in total; the discharge line is 3in in diameter and is 40 ft long in total. The discharge line splits into two branches as shown in figure. The heat exchanger has a k-12. The total length of the pipe containing the heat exchanger is 8 ft. The lin line is 30 ft long.
