Problem (5): A tank of depth (h) containing two different liquids with specific gravities (Si) and (S2), respectively, is to be designed so that its side walls are inclined at an angle (a). Liquid 1 F1 h/2 Given the values of S1 [-], and S2 (-), calculate the ratio (F1/F2) between the hydrostatic pressure forces on the part of the side wall in contact with liquid 1 to that in contact with liquid 2.
