8-5 A Cubic aluminum block with side-length 10mm is subjected to a uniformly distributed force F-5kN (scc figure). Knowing that the Poisson ratio of aluminum is 41-0.33. Determine the principal stresses at any point of the aluminum block for the following situations. (1) There are no constrains in the x and a directions, figure (a). (2) Put the aluminum block into a rigid block groove, and there are no space between the two sides of the block and the inner walls of the block groove, figure (b).
