A 15KW power is to be transmitted by shaft 1 to shaft 2 by a HELICAL Gear pair (as shown), and eventually transmitted to the splined shaft by a DISK Clutch. 1000 Shaft 2 Sliding Actuator • Splined shaft 12 - 200 mm Disk Clutch Gear 2 Gear 2 Gear P = 15kw = 100 mm shaft i 600 Gear 1 Assuming same material properties of shaft and gear: Sut = 700 MPa, Se = 270 MPa. QUESTION: Sketch the profile of shaft 2, specify the diameter of EACH section.
