A 380 V, 4-pole, 1250 rev/min, 50 Hz three-phase induction motor is controlled by a Variable Voltage Variable Frequency (VVVF) drive. The magnetic flux is kept unchanged, and the supply frequency is set at 30 Hz. Evaluate (a) the supply line voltage of the motor, (2 marks) (b) the synchronous speed in rev/min, (2 marks) (c) the motor speed in rev/min, and (2 marks) (d) by giving a reason, the supply voltage required for a safe operation if (2 marks) the supply frequency is increased to 60 Hz.
