As a class capstone project a student is interesting in comparing the academic abilities of the incoming Freshman class. The ACT scores for a small sample of individuals for each gender and the raw data is listed below. 2. According to Truman's admission office last years Freshman had an average ACT of 27 with a standard deviation of 3 (u= 27,0 =3) a. Using the traditional" cutoff method, test (a -0.05 ) to see if this year's female students have better academic abilities than last years students. b. Calculate the P-value for the above statistic, state your rejection region and test to see if this year's female students have better academic abilities than last years.

NOTE - You will need to find the sample standard deviation for the female group (I've already done it for the male group) to complete problems 3 & 4.
