In the system shown in the figure, the ball begins the top of the left curve. The ball accelerates down the quarter-circle curve, then traverses the flat plane, and finally climbs to the top of the right curve. The height is h = 4m, the distance covered over the flat part is d = 5.6m, and there is no friction present. Calculate the amount of energy converted from potential energy to kinetic energy if the ball has a mass of 1 kg. Give your answer in units of 'J'. Note: The quarter-circle curves on each side have a radius of curvature R = h (the same as the height).
