rope do you have to pull out of the system to lift a box 3 meters
up in the air?
b) If the box from the previous problem weighed 500N, how much
force would be required to lift it with the pulley simple
machine?
c) For the box from the previous problems:
- What is its mass?
- When you've lifted it 3 meters up, what is its potential
energy?
- If you then drop it and let it fall those two meters back
down, how much kinetic energy will it have right before it hits the
ground?
