The agent in the workplace is what infects the host and makes
him or her sick. The agent in the factory could be lead, asbestos,
or any other kind of chemical that will infect the host by coming
in contact with it via air, touch, droplets or ingestion. The host
would ingest the agent through one of those means. In this case the
host would be the factory workers. They factory workers are the
ones that are being infected with the illness from the agent. The
host is where the agent resides and can multiply and become more
aggressive. Once the agent is within a host the host can also now
spread the illness to other hosts or other employees. The
environment is the factory in which all the hosts work and where
the agent resides. The environment contributes to the origin of the
agent and it is where it was produced or can continue thriving. In
order to curtail and eliminate the illness the agent needs to be
identified and if it is thriving in a specific environment that
environment needs to be changed. The hosts need to receive
treatment in order to rid them of the agent that is making them
sick and they should not return to the environment that is
housing these agents so that he or she will not be infected again.
The agent needs the host, and environment to survive thus the
environment needs to be changed to stop the growth and
