From case study 3, triathletes expend a large amount of energy when training and competing and are often at risk for dehydration. -4 A simple question: would coconut water (in the adequate amount) alone provide adequate electrolytes, carbohydrates, and fluid for an athlete participating in an Ironman (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile swim)?
