While in the diabetes clinic for education on insulin administration, the nurse notices that Stanley is quiet and sad. He states that he had a close friend die recently and the friend's family had no idea what to do and this is still causing strife for all. The friend had dementia issues and the family never discussed end-of-life care. Stanley asks about ways to make sure his final wishes are known.
