A system contains 3 particles A, B and C with masses mA = 2kg, mg = 0.5kg. me = 1kg respectively. Initially they move with velocities VA = 1m/s, vb = 2m/s and vc = 4m/s as shown in figure I and where the arrows indicate their directions respectively. The particles are subject only to their mutual interactions so there are no external forces. After a certain time they are observed again and it turns out that ma moves with the same magnitude as u initial velocity but in the opposite direction, mg is at rest and me moves as indicated in figure II. If θ = 30 ° , determine the final velocity of particle C.
