Start from the boundary condition equations for a potential barrier Eq. (6.104) and find the ratio of the wave amplitudes inside the barrier | in terms of k and q. Using this ratio, show that the amplitude of the growing exponential wave (Cle9*) is always less than or equal to the amplitude of the decaying exponential wave (|D|e-9x) inside the barrier.
