You are working as an analyst for the Manhattan DA in a lawsuit
against cigarette companies. Your goal is to sue them for as much
as possible. I’ve outlined the general argument your team of
lawyers wants you to do. Your pay rate is about $150/hour. The
argument has 4 steps, each of which needs to be proven. Cigarettes
cause physical harm to user’s children.
Estimate the size of those damages (in $$$) to each
individual.
Establish the amount of damages smoking has caused to the
population in general via birthweight damages.
Write a one-paragraph argument that the company owes you this
amount. You have been provided this birthweight-smoking data
