Last week we looked at different methods of sampling. Present ONE scenario/research topic( you need to present a DIFFERENT scenario than your peers) and explain in detail the following method of data collection and challenges with each for your scenario. a) Random Sampling b) Systematic Sampling c) Stratified Sampling d) Voluntary Sampling e) Convenience Sampling For example, the scenario for me could be a qualitative Research study on students opinions on Math256? a) Convenience Sampling- I would choose my students for this Research study and the issue could be underrepesentation, small sample size, and bias.... b) Systematic Sampling- I will choose every 10th student taking Math256 last year and this year. Sample size could be an issue, access to the data, exposure of data etc....
