6.7.3 Discuss the transformations (a) w(z) = sinz, (c) w(z) = sinh z, (b) w(z) = cos z, (d) w(z) = cosh z. Show how the lines x = C₁, y = c₂ map into the w-plane. Note that the last three trans- formations can be obtained from the first one by appropriate translation and/or rotation.
