The diameter of rod AB is 50 mm and rod CD is 25 mm. Determine the average normal stress in each rod if temperature is raised to 70°C. Take AB=10(10- *)/°C and EAB = 150 GPa, Take acp=15(10)/°C, Ecp=200 GPa.
