Hi! I need help in designing a Cross-flow Water Turbine. I need
to determine the necessary parameters such as diameter of shaft,
runner inner and outer diameter, casing dimensions, intake
dimensions, and etc.
Hydro-Electric Plant with Water Source Elevation
at 50 meters and Target Output power is at 0.5 MW
The head equivalent for losses in pipes is approximately at 5%
of the gross head. The gross head for the turbine is 20m
It would be of big help if it includes all the formulas and
other parameters because I am going to study it.
