How many turns (or ideal number of turns) should I have in the
secondary and primary coils of my transformer (when I remake it) to
ensure that that the primary coil induces an EMF on the secondary
coil. Given that I use a 12V AC power supply with 5 Amps.
Dimensions 8cm Diameter 4cm Diameter (hole) 1.5cm Width Ferrite core 2 layers of electrical tape One layer attached to ferrite core Other layer on top of copper wire
Secondary coil (30 turns) Primary coil (60 turns of copper wire)
