(c) Consider a case where the sender A wants to send an M-byte message to the receiver B via multiple store-and-forward switches in between by using pipelining technique as shown in Figure 1. The data rate for all the links is R bits/sec and there are II hops (links) in between. Each link is L meters long and the propagation speed remains at P meters/sec throughout all the links. Assume for each packet, the overhead is K bytes and the data payload is S bytes. The processing delay at each switch is D seconds. Ignore the queuing delay at all the nodes. Assume A can send one packet after another without waiting for the acknowledgement from B. Calculate the total delay of sending the message from A to B if M is a multiple of S.
