I have an i beam to be welded at both ends with a point load
concentrated in the middle. Dimensions listed, i need to know what
size to make the i beam as to not exceed the modulus of elasticity,
and maximum allowable bending stress. Also, if i can have two
answers for a SF of 1.5 and 2
I- Beam P = 2000 lbs X = 30" L= 60" Analyzation = 8896.44 N H 762 mm = 1524 mm TX- A t ·L A
