I. Find the depth of flow which will initiate sediment motion on a channel bed comprising 5.00 mm sand in a wide channel having a longitudinal slope of 1 x 104. Assume kinematic viscosity of water as 1 x 10-6 m²/s and specific gravity of the sediment as 2.65. Neglect viscous effects.
