Option 1 Use what you learned about monetary policy, and respond to the following questions: 1. If you were working for the FOMC what actions (list two) do you think should be taken to address the COVID recession. How do you think this would impact the economy and why would it be effective? 2. Find and cite an article that discusses what the Federal Reserve actually did during the recession. Are there any actions taken by the Fed that we didn't talk about in class? 3. Do you think the Fed should try to lower interest rates below zero (negative interest rates)? Give your best guess as to why a country would want to do that and what the effect on the economy would be?
