Scenario: A student nurse is doing clinical work with a home
care nurse. They have been assigned to make an initial visit to a
74-year-old patient who was recently discharged after receiving for
a fractured femur. The patient's daughter tells them that she is
not able to convince her father to get out of bed and that he
complains of dizziness when he sits up. She wants to know how she
should handle the situation. What would be the nurse's best
response? (Refer to Williams deWit's Fundamental Concepts and
Skills for Nursing, Chapter 18)
