1. If the sample is right-tailed, what are the two ways to state
that the means of two populations are equal? For abbreviations, use
H0, H1, u1 and u2 for the null hypothesis, alternative hypothesis,
mean of population 1, mean of population 2, respectively.
2 For testing the difference between two means of dependent
samples, state the hypotheses for a left-tailed test. For
abbreviations, use H0, H1 and u0 for the null hypothesis,
alternative hypothesis, and expected mean of the difference between
matched pairs, respectively.
