Based on what we know today about health care in the US, the
healthcare system being known for its dominant quantity of tests
and diagnostic procedures. Many agree that it is defensive medicine
being practiced, while others agree that doctors are seeking higher
or more pay from procedures. How might we better balance quality
outcomes with patient protection? Is it the job of the patients,
the insurers, the providers, or all?
