Through a tensile test, developed in a laboratory to
mechanically characterize a material, the following data was
obtained:
2) Estimate the stress for an elongation value equal to 0.03
mm/mm, using the least squares regression method, by means of a
function that develops all the calculations of the terms of the
system of equations using Matlab/Octave (Only for the numerical
resolution of the system can use some Matlab/Octave library.) and a
fit with:
a) a polynomial of degree 2
b) a power model
