a) Select a family-focused television program or movie and
analyze the family's behavior in relation to the family systems
framework, interaction framework, structural framework, and
developmental framework. Be sure to cite the television show and or
movie name for the program you are analyzing.
b) Identify three health problems common to families in your
community, and discuss the implications of the problems for the
health and health care resources of the community. Be specific

c) Because violence, suicide, and accidents are major causes of
death for men in Oklahoma, look at your community and describe the
leading risk factors for violence, suicide, and accidents. Assess
each category separately. Use statistical data to document
incidence. What agencies exist in the community or region to help
prevent death or disability from these risk factors? What services
do the agencies offer?
d) Select a federal or state program that provides services to
the special needs population. Determine how persons qualify, what
services are available, how clients are identified, and what (if
any) services are available for support of the entire family. Write
your findings as the answer to this posting for further discussion
with your class peers.
