A sample of dry, cohesionless soil was subjected to a triaxial
compression test that was carried out until the specimen failed at
a deviator stress of 105.4 kN/m^2. A confining pressure of 48
kN/m^2 was used for the test.
a. calculate the soil's angle of internal friction.
b. calculate the normal stress at the failure plane.
c. calculate the shear stress at the failure plane.
