Question 6 The beam shown in figure 6 is encastré at one end and simply supported at the other. It supports a udl over part of the span as shown in figure 6. i.) Use the Differential equations of flexure to determine all the reactions Calculate the rotation of the beam at support B ii.) iii.) Calculate the vertical deflection at the mid-span of the beam.
