select one outbreak topic from the CDC's Current Outbreak List that
you would like to investigate. Describe the following for your
selection: Disease name: For example, Ebola (specifically, Ebola
Hemorrhagic Fever) Summary statement: For example, Ebola is a
disease of humans and other primates caused by Ebola virus, with
signs and symptoms including (etc.) Significance/Relevance: For
example, recently there have been devastating outbreaks in West
Africa, specifically Sierra Leone and Liberia, causing serious
public health crises (etc.) Outbreak location(s) and date(s): Where
did the outbreak occur? What does the epidemic curve look like?
Signs, symptoms of the disease, and mechanisms of transmission of
the outbreak Risk factors Diagnosis and treatment of the outbreak
disease: How is the disease diagnosed (laboratory testing,
clinical, etc.)? What treatment measures are available? Prevention
of future outbreaks: Suggestions for preventing future outbreaks
(e.g., vaccination clinics, isolation and quarantine, etc.).

pages) in APA 7th edition style and format about smallpox.
